Reflection

Now that this school year is about to end and graduation is near. I can feel happiness and loneliness.

I'am happy cause, at last we are going to graduate. I very satisfied and thankful for all the moments that I've shared with my friends and classmates. I wish that these memories will be treasured in the heart of each one of us.

I'am a bit lonely cause it is really hard to accept that each one of us will go in separate ways and be an individual. But I have no regrets cause I'am hoping that in the end of the road we will still meet.

I'am very thankful that I've been blessed with supporting parents and teachers. And of course to the lord God that's always there whenever I need Him. Happy Graduation.

My Dream, My Future

Most of the years that we are living in this world is spent preparing for our future. In short, spent by STUDYING. Now I'm about to graduate from high school and I must say that it was a tiring FOUR years. And there are still some more years for COLLEGE. And I'm really excited. I can't help myself to think about my future.

In my younger years I always dream of a wealthy and healthy life for my family and my soon to be family. This is not only a dream but a challenge for me and  I always tell myself that this dream will come true. I even make a list.

GOALS IN LIFE:

  • Be rich and popular
  • Travel the world
  • Healthy and complete family
When I have a stable job with a high salary. I will be the one to support my family. Then I will earn and earn until I get rich. I also wanna be popular in my own profession. And then when I already have enough money I will travel the world with my family.

It's so good to be true. But to achieve all of this I really, really need to study well. Well see you in the future. ^_^

Change Starts With Me

Change sign

Nothing in this world is permanent but CHANGE. As time went by, every single thing in this world will undergo changes. Even life style can change.
If i have to change something about myself. It's going to be my attitude and my style in facing problems in my life. I want to change my bad attitude. Just like being an anti-social sometimes. For me this attitude is a bad attitude. And I really wanna change it. Good thing that I have my supporting FRIENDS that is always there for me whenever I need them.

And I also wanna change my style in facing problems. I wanna be more stable and calm in facing problems. Cause whenever I have a problem I always cry for it. And sometimes I ended up GIVING UP. So this time I really, really wanna change it. Change is going to start with me.

KANNAWIDAN FESTIVAL

If you are a Ilocano. You will be very familiar with this celebration. Kannawidan is a festivity which the city of Vigan celebrates every year. in this festival, the Ilocanos showcase cutural shows, native products, and talents of Ilocano people.

In this celebration in the month of February, we witnessed the extravagant and spectacular culture and tradition of fellow Ilocanos have and to be proud of. For the people of Ilocos Sur, this is not just a festival, hence, this is learning and experiencing different tastes of cuisines, cultures, traditions and some exhibits of the fellow Ilocanos as well. One of this is the OTOP of the "One Town, One Product". Because each municipality of Ilocos Sur have their own products showcasing their traditions and their municipality. For tourists, they can see or buy those beautiful and enjoyable OTOP and exhibits, it is learning what Ilocanos have and create Market of beauty, tradition, food and creativity of fellow Ilocanos.

Kannawidan Festival was established and launched in 2008 by the former Governor, DV Savellano , in celebrating and honor to the separation of the Province through the approve of Spanis Royal. And I think that this festival aims to preserve every province's rich cultural heritages, practice and most of all , the traditionds. So mark your calendars next year or the other years to come that February is the Kannawidan Festival.

Meet the New Me

This is a new year. And every year I have my own new years resolution.

THINGS TO ACCOMPLISH:

  •  be a better older sister
  • be a better daughter
  •  be a better student
  • be a better person
I have to be a better person for my family, for my country and for myself also. Being a better person is great. Cause everyone is adoring you. Unlike last year, I just felt that I have been a bad girl so I decided to change it. I will be a better person for the future.

                                 MY
In our third grading period ends. I must say that I learned so much from my ICT teacher.

We listened, we discuss, we did many activities. And enjoyed it a lot. It seems like it was just yesterday when the school year started.

And now we are moving on to the next and last grading. Time runs so fast. Two months to go and we will soon leave high school life. And face the future together with all the things that we've learned.

essence of CHRISTMAS

Christmas is a christian holiday honoring the birth of Jesus Christ, Christmas evolved over two millennia into a worldwide religious and secular celebration, incorporating many pre-Christian, pagan traditions into the festivities along the way. Today, Christmas is a time for family and friends to get together and exchange gifts.
The true essence of Christmas is on giving. It's either love, material things and many more that came from your heart. Nowadays Philippines has been struggling because of the calamities that just recently happened. Especially typhoon Yolanda, that came exactly Nov. 8,2013. and many Filipinos celebrated Christmas with nothing.
But the true essence of Christmas bloomed in everyone of us. Giving is everywhere. Even other countries helped Philippines, they donated everything that they can give.
We are not happy that this typhoon hit the Philippines but I'am very thankful that this happened. Because I believe that everything happens for a reason. And for me this happened for us to realize the true essence of Christmas.

"Climate Change"

The planet Earth is the only place in the universe where humans, animals, and other living things can lived. Earth became our shelter but still, human beings still have the courage to destroy the only place that can survive. As a result of our wrong doings our planet Earth is currently experiencing Global Warming. And one of its effects is climate change.

Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather.

This causes abnormality in our weather. So if you are still concern of our planet, help us to save her by your small doings.

"Equal Rights, Equal Opportunity"

As we Filipinos who lives in a democratic country, we must all know the meaning of "equality". "Equality" in terms of every aspect of our lives. There should be EQUALITY.

Just like in world of SCIENCE, a solid matter which every atom is bond and compact with each other. We Filipinos are are always together sharing their intelligence for the progress of our country. With equal rights and no discrimination.

If there is equality in every aspect of our lives we learn how to be fair. Example in job hiring, if we are going to practice equality there be equal opportunity to all of us. It is very simple if we all have equal rights there will also be equal opportunity to everybody.

Our rights is our weapon to fight for the equality of opportunities. Cause if everyone has equal rights then everything will be fair enough. there will be equal treatment and most of all equal opportunity.

English Language

"Going Global through English Language"

In the whole world there are so many languages. And in every part of the world language is very important for communicating. It will take you years or even decades to master all of the language in the world.

We all know that English is our "universal language". English made communication around the world possible. Even though we have different beliefs, religion and way of thinking, we are still united by one language. Through English all of the people in the world are given chance to be heard and understand. Everyone can express themselves through English.

So it is very important that every people in the world would learn how to speak in English. For a student like me it is very important for us to learn English. Because may we use this language for our future profession and even for our daily life.

English is not that hard to learn, you just need a little patience and practice. And when you already know how, you will realize that it is easy. Try to learn English cause this language is very important not only for communicating but also for our daily life.

My Little Reflection

In this grading period I have learned a lot. I have learned how to use blog and notepad. And in this subject I have learned that blog is an online diary.

I had a problem on using the notepad because I can minimally attend our ICT subject cause this grading period I was busy on other competition. That's why  I do not know how to use the notepad. And I also had a problem on my activities until such time came that I should rush it.

This problems troubled me a lot. So next grading I will do my est so that next grading I wont be rushing any activities anymore. I thank Ma'am Vera Cruz for teaching us.

             Moving on...........

I promise that next grading period I will exert more effort to study harder.

My Teacher, My hero

I know that if you  hear the word "super" you think about of a human with superpowers or maybe a human who doesn't have super powers but saves lives. like a police, fireman, soldiers, and many more.

But sorry to say my hero is not like that. they doesn't have super powers and doesn't save lives. But he make the heroes. Do you know who they are? They are our teachers. They are the one make heroes. We consider them as our second parents. They mold and teach us good morals. If teachers don't exists, maybe professionals also doesn't exists. If it is not because of them police, soldiers, fireman and many more would not also be here to save more lives.

So lets give them our respect cause they really deserve it. They mold us to be a better person. So we can reach our goals in our lives. So thank you to my beloved teachers. Thank you for your service.

Unravel the Causes, Build the Solution, Empower Science Clubbers to Action

In our modern generation, many useful materials are invented. Example machines, gadgets, plastic materials and many more.
It is true that this inventions are very useful to us but it has a bad effect on our environment. Today we are having a problem on proper waste disposal. Because of the invented plastics that would take million years to decompose, our country is always experiencing flood. But although we are having a problem on that matter we can still avoid it by our own simple ways. Example, a small candy wrappers can be put on your pocket if you can't find a trash can. We should always practice the 3R's.
With this simple ways we can step up for a healthier world for us to live in. We can do this simple ways to step up for a better world for all of us.

My Super Grandma

I know that when you say "super" the first thing that comes on your is a superhero. A superhero with amazing super powers.
But sorry to say my grandma is not like that. Grandma may not have super powers but she has super loving hands and super speed in helping my Mom in doing household chores. She may be old but she is a very healthy woman. If I have a problem, her super advices would help a lot. And if I'm crying her shoulders will always be there for me to lean on and her super loving hands will wipe all my tears.
My Grandma is my modern hero. She's always there whenever I need her help. She is my "Super Grandma".

Wika Natin, ang Daang Matuwid

Filipino is our national language. So every Pilipino must know this language. We should all know this language because if every Pilipino would know this language everyone will understand each other.

Our language is our identity. We should be proud of it, we should always use it. And if we always use it we can show to the world that we are united by our own language. So we should always use it cause it's also a small way to prove that we are a Pilipino.

Reflection
In our subject in computer, which is ICT, I have learned a lot from our subject teacher Mrs. Vera Cruz.
Every 3:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon she have taught us many things within one hour only. She have taught us about the history and the timeline of the internet. I have learned from her that the word "blog" is the shortcut of the" web log. I also learned from her that "blog" is an online diary. I also learned how to use my blog and now I'm applying all of the things that I have learned from her.
Because of our subject teacher I find ICT subject very enjoyable. Because the past few years I find ICT subject very boring. But now because of her I'm now enjoying  and having fun with our ICT subject. And its all because of her. Thank You Ma'am.
SONA 2013
The 4th State of the Nation Address of President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III last July 22, 2013 was successfully delivered. President "Noynoy" tackled about strengthening our agricultural sector.
I agree with him because it is perfect for us to improve our agriculture. We all know that Philippines is popular because of its natural resources. Philippines is rich in healthy land that is perfect in planting. So I really agree with him.
For example, the coconut sector. According to President Noynoy the government will help the coconut farmers to strengthen their coconut farms; but in exchange, they will be required to sow different kinds of seeds in between the rows of coconut trees. He also said that by doing this we can raise the frequency of crop harvests, depending on what they plant, their income will also increase.
With this words I realize that our President is doing something to make our economy improve. So with this topic on the 4th SONA of our President, I really agreed with him.

Step Forward and Fight Malnutrition

Philippines is very rich in natural resources. But still our country is still suffering from starvation and malnutrition. Those persons who can't afford to eat three times a day are the one who are suffering from malnutrition. Those persons who are not eating healthy foods are also at risk. If you are suffering from malnutrition you are at risk to many diseases. Poverty is the main reason of starvation and malnutrition.
So lets start solving this problem at our own house. If you have a small land in your backyard, plant vegetables like squash, malunggay, kangkong, ampalaya, okra and etc... This vegetables are very nutritious. You can make a salad out of it and you can also mix them to your meal to make it even more healthier. It's very cheap and very nutritious. You can save money and you can use it to your other needs.
With this small steps I can solve this problem in my own way. This steps are small but if most of us will do this at home. It will be a big step to step forward and fight malnutrition.

                                                                                               June 28, 2013
Dear Mr. President,
First of all, I would like to extend my congratulations to you because in the past three years of your service as our president, you did a really good job. Our country has improved so much. Our economy has improved a lot. And it is all because of your good leadership.
But despite of the improvement of our country, there are still poor Filipinos who can't afford to eat three times a day. That's why I wrote you a letter to request you to please focus on the poor Filipinos. This is the only thing that I can do now as a senior high school  student, to help my fellow citizen.
That's all and I'm expecting a lot from your actions.
